[ unsurprisingly, Fiora's feeling kind of restless after all that. She doesn't come down into the common room from her quarters - rather, she walks in from the outside, evidently having been off somewhere. ]
Oh, Ange. Hello again. [ a small, apologetic smile. ] ... How are you holding up?
That's not it, [ Fiora answers, with confidence that might be surprising. ] All that would mean is that we have to find our way out on our own. But... I think we should talk to them again, first. When we can.
[Going out to the woods to get some air and have some time alone seemed like the logical choice after That Mess--which is why Ange is a little surprised to stumble across a familiar face.
But.
She only hesitates a moment before she shakes her head. Being alone is overrated, so she lifts a hand in a wave.]
[ if she's confident in anything other than her cooking, it's her sword arm. But... ]
Erm... Letting off steam, I guess? [ she sounds a bit awkward. ] I felt so frustrated, watching all that happen and not being able to do anything about it... I thought I'd try and look for a way out again. I thought there might be a generator powering this barrier somewhere.
[ knocking without saying anything... daring. Fiora's a bit wary - at least, it appears that way, given by how she slowly cracks the door open - but when she sees it's Ange, she relaxes, putting on a smile and opening the door fully. ]
Oh, Ange! Did you need me for something?
[ though she's upbeat, it's very obvious that she's exhausted just from her face; she's just pushing through it. ]
Not at all. I'm just sitting around waiting to fall asleep, really, but there's a lot on my mind.
[ her hand is cold, but her grip is gentle! she guides Ange over to a relatively flat stump that she and Izumo use interchangeably as a table or a chair, depending on the situation - right now, there's nothing on it, so it's a chair. ]
week 0, friday night
Oh, Ange. Hello again. [ a small, apologetic smile. ] ... How are you holding up?
no subject
Who would, after all of that...?]
Miss Fiora... [Her voice trembles. She clears her throat and tries again.] ... I, um... I think I am still processing.
Yourself?
no subject
I know. I really wasn't expecting this... Maybe I should have. This was suspicious right from the start. [ she shakes her head. ] But I'm okay.
no subject
[Fiora your life???]
It is too horrifying to contemplate...! [...] And... yet somehow... it happened.
no subject
I know, [ she repeats. ] We've got to talk to those six again.

But if they are... we still have no way to get out and go home.

week 1, sunday
But.
She only hesitates a moment before she shakes her head. Being alone is overrated, so she lifts a hand in a wave.]
Miss Fiora...!
no subject
[ it's very obvious Fiora wasn't expecting to see anyone else out here - why should she have? Surprise is written clearly on her expression. ]
What are you doing way out here? It might be dangerous.
no subject
...Ah.
[AH....]
Um... oops.
no subject
[ surprise is quickly turning to concern. ]
Don't tell me you forgot what you were doing?
[ THE NOVA IS LEAVING SO FAST ]
no subject
[She holds up her hands immediately.]
I came out here to take a breather... I just hadn't realized how far out I'd come. That's all.
no subject
You've got to be careful. It's not safe around here - especially if you haven't got a way to defend yourself.
[ ange looks very delicate and non-combative, so Fiora makes an assumption. ]
no subject
You're right... the last thing I want to do is cause any more trouble for everyone, considering everything...
[A sigh.]
But then... what are you doing out here, Miss Fiora?
no subject
[ if she's confident in anything other than her cooking, it's her sword arm. But... ]
Erm... Letting off steam, I guess? [ she sounds a bit awkward. ] I felt so frustrated, watching all that happen and not being able to do anything about it... I thought I'd try and look for a way out again. I thought there might be a generator powering this barrier somewhere.

week 3, saturday
Ange is here, knocking on your room door quietly.
She looks pretty downcast, but determined too.
Knock knock.]
Re: week 3, saturday
Oh, Ange! Did you need me for something?
[ though she's upbeat, it's very obvious that she's exhausted just from her face; she's just pushing through it. ]
no subject
... Do you mind if we talk for a bit? It isn't anything serious, but, um... I wanted to see you.
no subject
Sure. Um, watch your step - there's some roots right in the doorway, and they already tripped me enough this week. Here, take my hand.
[ she's holding it out towards her, hoping it'll be easy enough to find even without eyesight. ]
no subject
[Ange will take that hand, thus forestalling any falling on her face.
What a blessing.]
Thank you, Miss Fiora. I hope I am not disturbing you...
no subject
[ her hand is cold, but her grip is gentle! she guides Ange over to a relatively flat stump that she and Izumo use interchangeably as a table or a chair, depending on the situation - right now, there's nothing on it, so it's a chair. ]
How are you feeling?

VISION COME BACK...]
I am... I suppose I am processing... But I wanted to ask you that, actually. It was, um... everything was a lot today.
no subject
It sure was. But... it's like this every week. I'd like to say I'm getting used to it, but I think I'm more getting fed up with it.
